Jane Blount is now the clinic manager and head laser therapist at BioLaser Therapy where she facilitates healing of a wide range of musculo-skeletal injuries both acute and chronic with the use of low intensity lasers. She brings an extensive background as a holistic health practitioner, somatics educator and professional dancer to her work at the Center for BioLaser Therapy. She holds an H.H.P. in integrative somatic methods, and has maintained a private therapeutic bodywork practice specializing in deep tissue, circulatory and somato-emotional integrative bodywork since 1988. Her training includes studies in the Alexander Technique, BodyMind Centering, Qi Gong, Vipassana meditation, and Authentic Movement. As a dance professional she was a co-founder of Lower Left Performance Collective and performed with many leading modern dance companies in San Diego and New York City. She received two San Diego Dance Alliance "Tommy" Awards for her outstanding performances with McCaleb Dance and Lower Left, and was a guest teacher at UCSD and SDSU. Jane enjoys supporting live theatre and dance, hiking with her husband Chris, and raising Alby, their quickly growing son.
